He is the recipient of many Virginia Salt Water Fishing Tournament Citation Awards for trophy fish in many different Species. He got his youngest son involved in fishing when he was 6 years old and he has received many awards as well. He is the proud recipient of the coveted "Expert Fisherman" and "Master Fisherman" awards from the state of Virginia.
